Uncut Diamondz drops off a brand new single titled ‘E.T.’ off his upcoming debut solo mixtape, Tha Uncut Version. The South Florida artist reflects on life and flows effortlessly over some spacey, eerie but smooth production. This is a great first offering from the up and coming artist and so far, there’s no word on when the tape is expected to drop but I can’t wait to hear the final product.
While out in the Westcoast, newest signee to Def Jam and leader of the RattPack, Logic, sat down with Rikki Martinez to discuss life as a XXL Freshman, meeting Nas, and his goal to become one of the best to ever grab a mic and rap. Action Bronson takes Riff Raff, a couple plus size women, pitbulls and a big ass jeep to Queens for the official video to his latest single, ‘Strictly 4 My Jeeps’. Wale looks to treat fans today to the follow up to his successful ‘Bad’ lead single with this new track titled ‘Love Hate Thing’. Just like ‘Bad’, Wale is staying on his smooth side with this mellow, low-beat cut. The Gifted is set to hit stores everywhere on June 25th.
Big K.R.I.T. just dropped some dates for his mini-Westcoast Tour to promote his newly released mixtape, King Remembered In Time. He will be accompanied by Smoke DZA, who will be opening up for all 8 dates. This is great news for the Westcoast fans but you already know all the Eastcoast fans are disappointed. Either way, I’m sure it’ll be a great show so if you see your city on there, make sure you get your tickets before they sell out.

Before the two head out on their ‘America’s Most Wanted’ Tour this summer, T.I. unleashes his new single, ‘Wit Me’, featuring the headliner himself, Lil Wayne. I admit over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been slacking on the submissions but I finally got a chance to get back on it. As part of our freestyle contest (which is still going on), Verbal Van Gogh from Charlotte tackles the ‘S.O.S.’ instrumental produced by BanksOnTheBeat. This freestyle was pretty dope. Definitely going to have to check out his Fema Fresh II: 33rd Degree tape some time this week.
After premiering the video for the first official single from his upcoming project a little over a week ago, Vic Mensa returns to bless his fans with the MP3 download of his song, ‘Did It B4′. If you haven’t already, watch them dissect Vic Mensa’s brain in the video right here. If you’re a producer, Vic has also released an acapella version for you guys to fuck around with which you can grab here. INNANETAPE dropping soon.
Side note: Mensa has announced a week and a couple days ago that the Chicago band, Kids These Days, has made an amicable decision to disband. Sad news, but let’s be thankful for all the music they’ve given us over the years. You can also check out some of Mensa’s latest raps on their final project release, Traphouse Rock.
Here is a look at the official artwork for J. Cole’s upcoming sophomore album, Born Sinner. Below, you can check out the artwork for the deluxe version of the album. What was originally set to drop on June 25th has now been pushed up a week to June 18th. Even though we’ve been getting a good amount of music from J. Cole in the past weeks, the only known track to appear on the album is his single “Power Trip” featuring Miguel. With the album releasing in under a month, expect new music dropping very soon.
