I’m actually a new fan of Kirko Bangz because I was never really sold on him til the video dropped. I realized he could actually make some dope hits after I gave Progression 2 a listen. Iggy Azalea is prepping for her debut album The New Classic with the executive producer who is none other than T.I. himself. This video doesn’t really show them working on new material in the studio but more of them just talking nonsense. I’m still not sold on Iggy Azalea, matter of fact, I’m more confident on Honey Cocaine’s career than I am of Iggy’s, but it’s going to be interesting to hear her debut album seeing that it is called “The New Classic”.
A$AP Rocky and the MOB took a quick break from Club Paradise to make a pit stop in Houston for a sold-out show at Warehouse Live with a host of artists coming out to welcome NYC’s newest gold-grilla. Of course the underground king, Bun B was in the building to get the crowd fully “throwed” and let ‘em know the movement is all the way trill!
Ski Beatz just dropped this 5-track EP, which he produced entirely except one track he shares credit with The 83rd, featuring Cam’Ron, Vado & McKenzie Eddy. This is a unique mix because I can’t remember the last time I heard Cam and Vado on a beat produced by Ski. Talking about unique, this EP opens up with a dub-step beat! Fuckin’ sick. Damn, 19-year old August Alsina from New Orleans does his best R&B Biggie rendition of “Party & Bullshit”, featuring G.O.O.D. Music artist CyHi Da Prynce, and it doesn’t disappoint. This track will be featured on his upcoming mixtape The Product. Keep an eye out for this upcoming R&B artist; he definitely has some talent.
STORi lays down her amazing singing and rapping vocals on this flipped Queen Latifah classic. It’s been a while since I heard a female who’s raps and singing flowed so well together. Don’t know what this track is off of, but I’m looking forward to hearing a full project from her.
