Once again, we’re back with a round up of all the posts we made this week. For some reason, Wiz’s presence was kicked up a notch this week; dropping a new song with 2 Chainz that will appear on the upcoming Fast & Furious film and appearing in 3 different videos. Besides that, this past week was pretty light in new releases compared to the last couple of weeks. Check out the full list after the jump. (more…)
Sampling The Golden Girls theme song on NBC, Cam’Ron decided to let loose this new track titled ‘Golden Friends’. Happy to hear Cam’Ron is still dropping music but what’s really good with that Dipset Reunion project though? Stream/download the new track below. Hopefully he drops more music soon.
Since he was unable to fall asleep last night, Thelonious Martin decided to release a new instrumental, “Sleep Pattern”, to all his fans who happened to be awake in the middle of the night. The vibe and chords just fit the title perfectly. Stream the new beat below. For more instrumentals from the Chi-Town producer, check out his From Me To You album, which is available now.
To make up for the cancellation of his PNCXX summer tour with Travi$ Scott, Casey Veggies decided that the only way to make it up to his fans right now was to drop some new music. He stated that “higher powers” were to blame for the cancellation and that he had no control. Even though that’s a huge bummer that the tour was cancelled, at least we have some new jams from the young Westcoast artist. Listen/download below.
For the first official video off their new Live In Concert EP, Wiz and Spitta decide to film one of their many smoke sessions and turned it to the official video for ‘Toast’, as they should. Must be a great day because Spitta also dropped a new solo video last night. Live In Concert is out now.
Future replaces Lil Wayne and grabs a guest verse from Rick Ross, Birdman and French Montana for the official remix to his hit single, ‘Karate Chop’. Somewhat surprised DJ Khaled wasn’t featured on this but I guess this takes a bit away from all the controversy he’s gotten for this song due to Lil Wayne’s Emmit Till line. Future Hendrix coming soon.
Returning from a short hiatus, South Florida based clothing brand Sly Ones has recently dropped their new Spring/Summer collection for the new year. For this season, they have released the classic black sweater donned with the main Ninja logo, and have also made a navy blue release for this collection. In addition to the re-release, they keep it light with just their new ‘Live By The Code’ tank top and one new shirt, both which comes in two colors. You can check out the full look book and get the site link after the jump.
Action Bronson and The Alchemist call up Shade 45 together to chop it up with DJ Whoo Kid for a 7 minute interview. Bronsolino takes the time to talk about crowd surfing in Toronto, what rappers he is currently listening to now, his label situation, upcoming projects, his style of rap and more. On the other hand, Alchemist speaks a bit on what albums he has coming up in the near future. Also, Bronson’s collab with Harry Fraud, Saab Stories, is coming soon.
Fabolous makes his way to Power 105.1 to kick it with the crew and spoke about his run in with Ray J awhile ago, not joking as much on Twitter as he use to, Loso’s Way 2 and a lot more in this 30 minute interview. Check it out above. Grab The SOUL Tape 2 if you haven’t already.
For the fifth set of visuals to come from Curren$y’s last solo mixtape, he gives the self-titled track the official video treatment. New Jet City is out now. Roll up and enjoy the new CJ Wallis-directed video above.
