Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa – Live In Concert (Tracklist)

Looks like the original Live In Concert artwork isn’t being used anymore but since I can’t find a good quality version of the new one, I’m going to stick with the old one since it looks cooler anyway.  iTunes also had the pleasure of dropping the tracklist which is 6 grams (tracks) even though Spitta stated in the live stream yesterday that it would be 7.  From what I’m assuming, there will be one bonus track which would bring the total to 7.  No features and production credit wasn’t listed.

01. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – Cabana
02. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – Landing
03. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – The Blend
04. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – Toast
05. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – Revenge & Cake
06. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – For Her

PREORDER: WIZ KHALIFA & CUREN$Y – LIVE IN CONCERT

On April 1st, we broke the news that Live In Concert would be dropping on April 20th. But unfortunately, we were fucking around and caught everyone with a epic April Fool’s joke. Today on a Google live stream, Wiz and Spitta got together to announce that the highly anticipated collaboration is indeed set to drop on April 20th, which means we indirectly predicted the future. So roll up and get ready for this to drop in 3 days.

Kid Cudi – Indicud (Snippets)

Cudi is just on a roll this week. I can’t remember the last time we’ve talked this much about him. With pre-orders for Indicud going live the other night on iTunes, snippets for every track has been released. This comes a day after he announced that he is no longer with G.O.O.D. Music. Keep in mind, you shouldn’t make a decision on whether how dope or garbage this album is based off 30 second snippets.  The full album is set to hit stores on April 23rd.

Kid Cudi Announces He Is No Longer With G.O.O.D. Music

Kid Cudi stopped at KPWR Power 106 in LA with King Chip to announced that he is no longer with G.O.O.D. Music. Rest assured, this does not mean that we’ll never hear another Cudi and Kanye collab because there is no beef between the two parties. He stated that he went to both Don C and Jay-Z for advice on how to approach Kanye West respectfully. He said that he would still smack the piss out of anyone who disses Ye and that he still sees him as his older brother. This was strictly a business move. Cudi has kept this a secret for 6 months and that is why his presence on Cruel Winter wasn’t huge.  Will update with an audio rip of the interview as soon as one surfaces.  Doobies to Dat New Cudi for the heads up.

UPDATE
: that was fast.

Curren$y Announces Release Date For ‘Live In Concert’

Curren$y took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce that his highly anticipated collab with Wiz Khalifa, Live In Concert, is set to drop on April 20th.  This has been a long time coming esepcially since Wiz was still rapping about smoking blunts on How Fly.  This album was slated to drop last year but sample clearances had forced the two to delay the release.  This is actually a surprise since we haven’t heard a single record that is confirmed to appear on Live In Concert but I’m not surprised that they chose this date.  Hit the jump to watch the official video announcement. XXL 2013 Freshmen Class Cover

The list was leaked 2 hours before the official announcement from XXL last night which sent Twitter on a rant about how a Chicago rapper got snubbed for a spot for the second year in a row. 2 hours later, XXL drops the cover which features ‘The 11th Freshman’ Chief Keef. No idea what that means but at least they have a Chicago rapper even though they should’ve gave it to a rapper who isn’t as established as Keef like Chance or Rockie. Anyway, let me keep my opinions to myself but let us know what you think the comment section.

US-VOTE-2012-DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN-OBAMA

Just when you thought that the Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake Tour might be the biggest one of the year, Yahoo drops a bombshell on us. After previewing a remix to ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ featuring Jay-Z at SXSW, they drop the news that Jay-Z & Kendrick Lamar will be hitting the road together. If those two artists aren’t big enough, they also have J. Cole, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on the line up. But wait, it doesn’t end there. It will also feature guest appearances from Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean & Trey Songz on some of the dates.

Yahoo said attendees can expect “a daily mobile entertainment and innovation festival this spring/summer featuring the world’s hottest bands, comedians, and surprise guests.”

The tour will feature 14 stateside shows, starting May 3 in New York City and ending May 31 in San Francisco, and seven dates in Europe from Berlin to London through the summer. The London finale coincides with the annual “Yahoo! Wireless Festival,” for which Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake will co-headline.  Check out the dates below.
