Pro Era’s front runner Joey Bada$$ headed over to Hot 97 last night and kicked a couple freestyles for Funkmaster Flex. As always, young Bada$$ completely kills it with his heavy bars over a Mobb Deep beat, a Nas beat and a Capone-N-Noreaga beat. 2013 is going to be a big year for the Pro Era collective and hopefully the spring tour that Joey announced on Twitter a couple weeks ago decides to make a stop in South Florida. You can watch the 3 part freestyle after the jump. (more…)
Finally some visuals off Curren$y’s latest mixtape, New Jet City. Download that shit now.
After letting loose the track a couple weeks ago, the South Florida artist is back with the official visuals to go along with it. Vurn is one of my favorite artists coming out of South Florida and to see how much his name has popped up on the site in the past couple of weeks gets me pretty excited for what else he has in store for this year. Doobies to The 305 for the premier!
On the red carpet last night for the Grammys before he grabbed the award for ‘Best Rap Album of the Year’, Drake announced the title of his new album will be called Nothing Was The Same. He also stated that the album is set to drop this summer. He also dropped the video for his new single, “Started From The Bottom“, last night so make sure you check that out.
It was reported that Drake was set to release his new single on Grammy night but chose to drop it a couple days earlier. Instead, he decides to give us the official music video for his latest single. Drake also picked up a Grammy for ‘Best Rap Album of the Year’ tonight so congrats to him on the big win!
Fresh off the release of his brand new mixtape Wrath Of Caine, Pusha T decides to treat us to the visuals for “Millions” featuring Rick Ross on this boring Sunday. The next video to drop off the tape will be his collaborative track, “Doesn’t Matter”, featuring French Montana.
Inspired by the 10th anniversary of his classic album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, 50 Cent drops a new song and video entitled ‘Financial Freedom’. This is probably one of the hardest songs 50 Cent has dropped in recent memory. His next album, Street King Immortal, coming soon.
Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew continue their off the top bars stopping by Shade 45 once again, except for DJ Kayslay this time. And if you didn’t already know, Joey and friends will be hitting the road soon for their first national headlining tour which he announced the news himself via Twitter. Their latest collective tape PEEP: The Aprocalypse is out now.
Late pass on this but Sean Falyon decided that he wasn’t done with his last project just yet since he let loose the assisted visuals for “Follow The Beat” featuring Ina Williams. The Atlanta artist’s last project SFBE III: Do Me No Favors is available now.
