AyeLogics – Luxury Tax [Video]
While out performing Miami for Dunkxchange with Sir Michael Rocks, AyeLogics links up with the homies Pablo Costa and Jemell Taylor to shoot the 3rd set of visuals off his recently released project, Odd Man Out. In this visual, AyeLogics takes the time to soak in some of the finer things life has to offer as he rides around South Beach Miami. Watch the PGC & SNPK-directed video above.
Chuck Forbes – Drinkin & Thinkin [Video]
After dropping the single back in February, Chuck Forbes returns with the official visuals for the first single off his upcoming full length release. This is what the South Florida artist had to say about the track:
‘Drinkin’ & Thinkin’ brings all my emotions, feelings, and thoughts to life. It is more than a love song from a hip-hop record. To me, ‘Drinkin & Thinkin’ is that moment that everyone can relate to when all you feel like doing is taking time to ease the mind with a little alcohol and thoughts reflecting on those you have touched a certain place inside you. The Renaissance is filled with tunes pouring out love, excitement, fear and anticipation onto beats about a young man’s life. Hope you enjoy this video and the entire project.
The Rennaissance is out June 1st. For now, enjoy the Alan LeBlanc-directed video above.
Kanye West – Black Skinhead (Live On SNL) [Video]
After the worldwide premiere of ‘New Slaves’ last night, Kanye West makes his way to Saturday Night Live by premiering another new song titled ‘Black Skinhead’. Doesn’t take a genius to see what direction Kanye is going for his new album. Just know when it does drop, it’ll be controversial for sure. The audio for this video isn’t the best (and it doesn’t help that he’s screaming for his life) so I wouldn’t make a final decision on this until the MP3 drops. Yeezus coming on June 18th.
Juicy J – Boss Nigga [Video]
Juicy J said that the video was coming soon but we didn’t know it’d be that soon. After dropping the audio for this track yesterday, Juicy J returns this morning with the official visuals to accompany the braggadocious rap. Great to see Juicy still feeding the streets while he’s on his first solo headlining national tour with A$AP Ferg. There’s still a couple dates left on the tour so if you’re on the Westcoast, make sure you get your tickets now before they’re gone. Stay Trippy the album coming soon.
K. Roosevelt – Do Me Now ft. Hit-Boy [Video]
The energetic, impressive single from K. Roosevelt that originally appeared on his solo effort, RoseGold, but later reappeared on Hit-Boy’s HS87 compilation mixtape, All I’ve Ever Dreamed Of, gets the visual treatment. The video has a nice set of footage to fit the very infectious sound and vibe this track gives off. Check out the new video from the HS87 representative above.
Kanye West – New Slaves (Full Preview) [Video]
Kanye decided to be unique by debuting his new track and video called “New Slaves” via giant projections on 66 buildings across the globe. Complex is currently at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn location which they were able to capture this preview for everyone who couldn’t make it out to one of the 66 locations. Could this be the new song that Kanye West was planning to drop on June 18th? Possibly. For now, this is the best we’ll get until that date.
2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa – We Own It [Video]
Not only was 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa blessed enough to be tapped for the soundtrack to the upcoming Fast & Furious movie, they compile footage from previous movies to put together the visuals for this record. The video starts off with Letty and Dom about to race and a cameo from Rita Ora’s fine ass before old footage begins to show even though neither 2 Chainz or Wiz appear in the actual video. Movie hits theaters everywhere May 24th.
Hassani Kwess – Kick The Bass, Chuck (prod. Chuck Inglish) [Video]
Hassani Kwess takes us back to his 2012 release, Ruthless, to give us the official visual treatment to his Chuck Inglish produced track, ‘Kick The Bass, Chuck’. Kwess airs off with his vicious flow and intricate bars and doesn’t cease until the beat cuts off. Originally shot late 2011, he decided to hold off on releasing the video for reasons unknown until today. Lookout for his next full length release, The Kwess Never Sleeps, dropping this summer.
Fat Joe – Ballin’ feat. Wiz Khalifa & Teyana Taylor [Video]
After dropping the new single back in March of this year, Fat Joe returns with the official video for ‘Ballin’ featuring guest appearances from Taylor Gang’s general, Wiz Khalifa, and G.O.O.D. Music’s first lady, Teyana Taylor. Yep, this beat does sound familiar because producer Illa sampled and looped Nas’ ‘Hero’ instrumental. Given that the title of the track is ‘Ballin’, expect to see a lot of flexing in this Eif Rivera-directed video.
