He’s the newest signee to the most famous hip-hop label in the world, Def Jam Records. His debut album, Live from the Underground, arrived last week and claimed number one on iTunes’ hip hop charts. Straight out of Meridian, Mississippi, K.R.I.T. is a gentlemen who was born to be a star. The Sacramento TUS member dropped a new music video to hype up the release of his debut album under Amalgam Digital titled, Wild Style. The album was unfortunately pushed back and there is still no set date. I’m definitely excited for this project but I still have Crown Me King to hold me over. That mixtape still slappin’.
This clip shows Curren$y, along with Pharrell, in Miami over 24 hours recording “Chasing Paper” off of his first official studio album, The Stoned Immaculate.

While stopping by Shade 45 to promote his new album, Control System, Ab-Soul proceeeded to deliver some dope bars over the “Oldie” instrumental off Odd Future’s new album. This beat sounds perfect for Ab-Soul. I can only dream about what TDE would’ve done with a beat like this.

Is there anyone from JAMLA who isn’t a heavy spitter? Damn. Khrysis holdin’ it down with the beat and includes a feature from one of the dopest up and coming females Rapsody. 9th Wonder definitely has a good crew to roll with. If you haven’t grabbed Big Remo’s latest project, Sleepwalkers, I suggest you do so if you love that real Hip-Hop.
